Presidential prospect Beto O’Rourke simply proposed a large-scale debt-forgiveness system to simply help address the situation. Fellow prospects Sens. Elizabeth Warren (D-Mass.) and Bernie Sanders (I-Vt.) already provide programs that are such. But such relief should come, if after all, following the presidential election. For the time being, bankruptcy should always be a more option that is readily available truly overrun borrowers.
